FAQs

Do you have availability?

You can check our availability by using our booking search. Scroll up to search via our search calendars, or click 'Book now' in the top right of the screen. Enter your preferred dates and number of guests, and you will be able to see our most up to date availability on the next page.

To see bell tent availability, make sure you are searching with beginning and end dates on Mondays and Fridays.

If you are booking for more than one group, make sure you click through to 'book multiple pitches' on the next page. Our booking system will not allow you to book more than 6 guests onto each pitch, please contact us directly if you require a pitch to have more than 6 guests.

We can't guarantee group pitch availability, but if you are booking multiple pitches and would like them to be together, plese email us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

If you are having trouble booking, get in touch at reception@wyldevalleycamping.co.uk and we can check availability for you.

or any consecutive combination of those time periods. Check in times are between 2pm and 5pm, and check out time is by 11am on the day of your departure. Please get in touch if you require a different check in time.

What facilities do you have?

On site we have brand new toilet and shower blocks, with a wheelchair accessible toilet and shower wetroom. There are also washbasins for washing cookware, a freezer for re-freezing ice packs, and waste disposal for campervans by our toilet blocks.

Around the site we also have bins, recycling points and drinking water taps.

How accessible is the site?

Our campsite is mostly grass, so may be uneven in places, and there is a gentle slope in the centre of our camping field. There is wheelchair access to our toilet and shower blocks.

How level is the site?

Our campsite is situated among the rolling hills of North Cornwall. Therefore, despite selecting our most flat area for camping, some pitches may have up to a 5% or 1/20 incline. If you have a campervan or caravan, you may wish to bring your ramps.

If you would prefer a flat spot, please email us at reception@wyldevalleycamping.co.uk, and we will do our level best (we were pleased with that one!) to help you with your request.

Can I bring a gazebo or awning?

Yes you may bring either a gazebo, small tent or awning to your pitch aswell as your main unit of accomodation. To bring more than one, please add extras when you make your booking.

Can we have campfires?

Yes! We have fire pits available to rent on site, you can prebook this when you book your pitch, as well as logs for sale. We only ask that all fires are extinguished responsibly by 11pm.

Are BBQs allowed?

BBQs and camping stoves may be used on site, please keep these raised from the grass and extinguish responsibly after use. We discourage the use of disposable BBQs, they're not nice to the environment we're pretty big fans of!

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately we do not allow dogs or other pets on site.

Is there parking?

Parking for one vehicle is included with all pitch bookings. To add more than one vehicle, please add as an extra when you make your booking. We have a separate car parking area for additional vehicles.

How long can I stay?

A few nights or a few weeks - the choice is yours!

What if the weather is bad?

Contrary to popular belief, it does occasionally(!) rain here in Cornwall - luckily we believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing choices! Bring wet weather gear and go for a stomp whatever the weather, or check out our nearest all weather attractions.

What if Coronavirus restrictions prevent us from visiting?

In the event government covid restrictions prevent your visit or the site opening, you will first be offered a new date for your stay. If rescheduling is not possible, then a refund, minus any booking channel (ie Cool Camping, Airbnb or Pitchup) fees and payment provider fees, will be offered.

Are there any site rules?

  • No pets (including dogs) - unfortunately we cannot allow pets on site, we're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • We politely request that noise is kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 9 am.
  • Last check in time for camping pitches is 6pm. All vehicle movement on the campsite is prohibited after 9pm, if you arrive at the site after this time, then you will need to park your car in our separate (but still close!) parking area instead.
  • No large groups of adults / stag or hen weekend parties - we are a quiet, family and nature centred campsite.
  • Leave No Trace - We pride ourselves on being as eco-oriented as possible, with sustainabilty at the centre of the ways we operate and build as a campsite. We ask that our guests do the same, recycle wherever possible, and leave no litter behind. Our site is in a gorgeous rural setting, and litter is bad news for the wildlife that calls it home. Please dispose of glass safely.

How do I update my booking details?

Contact us via email at reception@wyldevalleycamping.co.uk with the details you need to change, and we'll change them for you, or see what we can do to help if it's more than a detail change.

How do I pay my balance?

You will be sent a reminder email a few days before you are due to pay your balance for your reservation, the reminder email will contain a link to pay.
