LOCATION & TRANSPORT

 LOCATION

Wylde Valley Camping is located within a 30 km radius of most of North Cornwall and Devon’s biggest attractions, from some of the country’s most beautiful beaches, to historic castles, towns and sites, to theme parks and botanical gardens.

TRANSPORT

North Cornwall isn’t exactly famed for its transport links, but fear not! We have plenty of options to ensure you can get to and from The Wyldes with ease, so all you have to worry about is who’s packing the tent poles.

DRIVING

Driving is your best option for these parts! Being in a rural, fairly remote area, we don’t have many public transport links - but roads we do have (just about!). Wylde Valley Camping is easy to reach from the A30 or A39.

TAXI

We have friends in high places! We can recommend several local private taxi companies should you need them during your stay. If you are getting a bus or coach to Cornwall from where you live, book one that goes to Bude (our nearest ‘big’ town), then a Taxi from Bude to Wylde Valley Camping.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

While public transport isn’t perfect in our neck of the woods, it is possible to get pretty close. The nearest train lines are Exeter St. Davids and Bodmin Parkway, both of which offer bus links to Bude.

HELICOPTER?

Oh, and if you need it we are able to get the mower out and create a nice big helipad in the field. It wouldn’t be the first time…
