Get Creative: Local Workshops in North Cornwall

Let’s face it, the sun’s not always shining, even here in Cornwall, and here at Wylde Valley Camping we love any excuse to get creative.

Here are some of our nearest creative workshops, where you can learn a new skill or create a take-home memory of your holiday. The perfect activity for those days when you’re just not feeling like a stomp in the rain.

Parsons Pottery

Parsons Pottery is a family run business, set in a rustic workshop at Quinceborough Farm, just 15 minutes from Wylde Valley Camping. They offer throwing sessions, clay workshops, and pottery painting - perfect for a family afternoon out. If you’re not in the area too long, don’t worry! John & Rosie can post your creations back to you once they’ve been glazed and fired. We recommend booking your pottery session in advance.

The Kitchen Front

Sat along the canal in nearby Bude, The Kitchen Front offers a range of creative workshops for all ages. Workshops include family ceramics sessions, mum & baby clay print sessions, fabric block printing and book binding. We recommend calling Clair at the studio in advance to book your session.

THE PEARL EXCHANGE

Founded in 2020, The Pearl Exchange is a creative, collaborative space, offering a range of creative workshops to everyone between the age of 18-35. Workshops are free of charge and run throughout the month, including print-making, textiles, silversmithing and soap stone carving, Find them at the pitch & putt building, in the nearby town of Bude.

We hope to see you at Wylde Valley soon. We’ll be here with our recommendations for the best creative workshops when you get here!
